Personal Info

Bio
Orlagh is an early career Postdoctoral Fellow and Nanomedicine team lead in the Porter Group at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS). Orlagh maintains a strong translational focus to her work which covers drug delivery more broadly, and specifically, enhancing oral uptake, lymphatic exposure and targeting of therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. This is achieved with multiple strategies, including active targeting, stromal modification and manipulation of physicochemical characteristics. Orlagh has extensive experience in preclinical study design, evaluating lymphatic transport, and establishing disease models to examine new drug delivery strategies, including solid and disseminated cancers as well as inflammatory arthritis.
