- Tracy's current work integrates hydrogen-deuterium exchange Mass Spectrometry (HDX-MS) with experimentally (cryo-EM and x-ray crystallography) determined protein structures, to provide critical insights into the role of dynamics in protein structure and function. Tracy has established time-resolved HDX-MS methodologies facilitating the study of transitional states in GPCRs. Additionally, Tracy has used MS techniques to uncover endogenous lipids linked with GPCRs.
