The PharmAlliance Research Domain is thrilled to announce that two grant applications have been funded via the new PharmAlliance Research Clusters for Doctoral Training (PARCDT) funding scheme. Congratulations to our research teams:

  • Dr. Wallis Lau (UCL), Prof. Simon Bell (Monash), Dr. Joshua Niznik (UNC): Multimorbidity and Medication Overload in People Living with Dementia: Building Capacity in International Multi-database Medication Safety and Effectiveness Research
  • Dr. Joseph Nicolazzo (Monash), Prof. Raymond Norton (Monash), Prof. Mala Shah (UCL): Development of blood-brain barrier-targeted peptide therapeutics for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases

This funding scheme seeks to promote collaboration, advance science in the named PharmAlliance priority areas, and offer graduate students a unique, international cohort experience. Researchers will receive support via PhD student scholarships rather than postdoctoral or research assistant positions.

Congratulations again to our successful applicants! Please email questions about this funding announcement to Caroline Sasser.
